Korridor Capital offers finance, design-build services and alternative energy solutions for CHP on-site energy systems of 1 to 50 MW in size. Korridor Capital offers third party ownership, leverage lease financing or tax-exempt financing for CHP on-site energy systems.

Korridor Capital is a family-owned Minnesota company initially incorporated in 1985. The Korridor Capital specializes in commercial real estate ownership and financing, CHP on-site energy systems and alternative energy solutions.

Stephen W. Korstad, President & Chief Executive Officer, founder and principal of Korridor Capital

Stephen has been the President and CEO of Korridor Capital for 19 years. Stephen specializes in leverage lease financing, real estate and CHP development. He was on the Minnesota Distributed Generation (DG) work group before the Minnesota Public Utility Commission concerning DG tariffs and interconnection standards. He is a member of the Energy Issues Standing Committee of the U.S. Combined Heat and Power Association. He is a member of the U. S. Combined Heat and Power Association, International District Energy Association, Rebuild America and EPA-CHP Partnership.

Stephen holds a B.A. with a major in economics from Grinnell College. He received a Masters in Public Affairs (M.P.A.) from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, University of Texas; a law degree (J.D.) from Hamline University School of Law; and a Masters of Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of Miami School of Law.

William B. Korstad, Chairman of the Board, founder and principal of Korridor Capital

William practiced law for over 40 years and has an extensive background in real estate and finance. The family originally developed regional and local retail centers in the 1960’s and 1970’s. He holds B.S.L, LL.B. and J.D. degrees from Macalester College and William Mitchell College of Law. He has been the Chairman of the Board for 19 years.
